❋ Placing an OrderCustom orders must be placed at least 10 days in advance. You can submit an inquiry to SCB by using the Custom Order Request or Contact link above. Please include the date of the event, the flavor and servings needed, and any add-on requests. Due to the high volume of orders, last minute orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and will incur a rush order fee of $25.
❋ PaymentOnce an invoice is sent, a 50% retainer is due to secure your order. All payments must be placed through the invoice provided. To secure your order, retainer fees must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the invoice. Balances must be paid in full 48 hours prior to delivery. Any order not paid in full by 6PM on the balance due date will be canceled. No exceptions.
❋ Cancellations and AlterationsWe are happy to accommodate minor order adjustments when possible. Requests for changes must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date. Significant changes to design, size, quantity, or flavor may require additional fees and are subject to availability. No changes can be guaranteed within 72 hours of fulfillment. Retainer fees are non-refundable/non-transferable.
❋ RefundsSCB does not offer refunds on services rendered. If you are not satisfied with your product, please contact us immediately so we can offer a solution. We request that you provide photos of the product in order to better assist you. No refunds will be issued on orders canceled within 24 hours of delivery.
❋ DeliverySCB is delivery ONLY unless a prior arrangement is made. Delivery is currently available to Bessemer, AL Wal-Mart, Piggly Wiggly, or ALDI (Morgan Rd.) for $5. Any deliveries beyond these points will incur an additional $0.50 per mile. SCB's responsibility ends when the product is delivered and accepted.
❋ AllergensPlease be advised that Sugar Coated Bakery operates in a kitchen that is not nut-free or gluten-free. Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including, but not limited to, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, and soy. While we take care in preparing our desserts, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.
